AI Responds Instantly, Children Learn Gradually: Finding the Right Balance

This session helps parents and learning companions support children’s thinking process when using AI for learning and homework. Participants will learn how to distinguish between AI as an answer provider and AI as a learning companion, guide AI to act as a tutor, and monitor children’s understanding without having to master every school subject. Through a guided practice, participants will create an AI Tutor prompt, learning support questions, and a practical family agreement for responsible AI use at home.
